The Ammonis Center, based at the spa ’Respighi’ in Tabiano Bagni in Salsomaggiore Terme (Parma), is configured as a new reality of care and assistance dedicated to the promotion of psychophysical well-being through innovative non-pharmacological therapies, aimed at the prevention of mental distress and other conditions of malaise that may affect the mental state of the person, such as: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress disorders, somatic problems, emotional and relational difficulties.
Non drug-therapies represent an innovative integrated assistance focusing on the specific needs of the Person.
Centro Ammonis provides activities aimed at the prevention of cognitive decay and the strengthening of cognitive functions. The goal is to promote the maintenance of functional autonomy of daily life and to allow the management of behavioural problems in children, adolescents, adults and elderly with developmental disorders, psychiatric problems and neurodegenerative diseases. The therapeutic interventions of the Ammonis Center are enpowered thanks the reality of spa treatments, where the paths of care are built in constant synergy, to ensure the best quality of care of physical and mental well-being, putting in the center the individual as a mind-body unit.

Afternoon service dedicated to the families of people with cognitive fragility.
The purpose of the meetings is to promote the well-being of the family/caregiver by ensuring a dedicated space to take care of themselves and manage the stress related to the task of caring for the fragile person, assisted by the team of the Ammonis Center.
The packages described can also be activated at home, based on an assessment of needs.
SPA RESORT FOR THE FRAGILE AND FAMILY PERSON/OPERATOR
The spa holiday packages, activated in collaboration with the Tabiano and Salsomaggiore resorts, represent a possibility for all those who live in a condition of fragility, for their families and for the operators who assist them: it is an opportunity to live a holiday experience within a therapeutic context that promotes psychological well-being, self-care and relaxation.
The uniqueness of this package is the opportunity to combine non-pharmacological therapies with thermal treatments, in a naturally regenerating environment.
During the stay, operators will benefit from hours of training/ refresher on non-pharmacological therapies. the family member may instead be informed about the different possibilities of non-pharmacological treatments and have support and care.
